Ensuring an integrated approach throughout the chain

As the market and supply chain expands, so does the potential for risk. The food and beverage industry must be vigilant to potential dangers in every link in the supply chain. This requires clear strategy internally and strong transparent relationships externally. A policy of continuous improvement is the only effective approach. As technology develops, so do new potential hazards and dangers that must be tackled.

Over the past 11 years, this event has become a “must attend” conference that brings together manufacturers, suppliers, retailers, regulators and industry experts. This year, we will continue our theme of cooperating to set key standards that are achievable and secure safety in the food supply chain. We will also go into detail on subjects that are seeing increased importance as the years go on, like social media impact, new labelling legislations and many more. This event will give you the tools on how to increase safety through effective policy while controlling excessive cost.

With an excellent mix of case studies, strategic insight, interactive panel and productive workshop we will address key issues such as:

  • Protecting your supply chain against food fraud
  • Social media impact on global food safety
  • Analysing benefits of metagenomics that will change the future of food safety
  • Detecting the impact of palm oil in food industry
  • Precautionary labelling methods of foods on allergen content

Who should attend?

The executives that will realise the greatest benefit through attendance include Vice Presidents, Directors, Heads & Managers responsible for:

  • Food Safety
  • Quality Assurance
  • Food Risk Management
  • Quality And Safety Control
  • Regulatory Affairs
  • Traceability
  • Labelling
  • Food Technologies

NH Collection Barbizon Palace Amsterdam

The NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace hotel is right in the center of Amsterdam. They’re by the main train station and close to the museums and shops. The building itself is a highlight too, dating back to the 17th century. The hotel’s 274 rooms combine classic decor with plenty of space. Special mention goes to the suites and apartments. A real showpiece is our Michelin-starred restaurant. It’s one of 2 places you can dine, plus there’s a bar. Elsewhere, our 15th-century chapel makes for an impressive events venue.
