The European Association for Food Safety, the “SAFE” consortium
The mission of the SAFE consortium is to keep food safety on the agenda. In that regard, SAFE aims to stimulate the public debate in Europe on the scientific aspects of food safety by making available up-to-date knowledge from organisations whose scientific integrity is guaranteed by the unlimited right to publish in the public interest. SAFE acts as an independent spokesman for food safety research in Europe to benefit the public. SAFE encourages scientific discussion by publishing White Papers such as ‘Keeping Food Safety on the Agenda’, in 2013, and more focused position papers such as ‘Update on Microbial Safety of Fresh Produce’, in 2012.

FoodDrinkEurope represents Europe’s food and drink industry, Europe’s largest manufacturing sector in terms of turnover, employment and value added. FoodDrinkEurope works with European and international institutions, in order to contribute to the development of a legislative and economic framework addressing the competitiveness of industry, food quality and safety, consumer protection and respect for the environment. FoodDrinkEurope's membership consists of 25 national federations, including 2 observers, 25 European sector associations and 17 major food and drink companies.

Food Quality Magazine is targeted to food safety professionals with the aim to provide them with up to date information to help them to develop, maintain and improve their food safety and quality management system. With the focus on the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) approved standards, there are frequent articles on topics of BRC, IFS, FSSC22000 and similar standards development and requirements.

FoodEurope Magazine is the quarterly publication for the latest news, technologies, trends and innovations in the food and beverage marketplace within Europe and the Americas.
It focuses on the main pillars of any food manufacturing enterprise: ingredients, processing and packaging, and analysis and control. In addition, it provides up-to-date industry and company news.

FoodEurope is distributed free of charge via email to decision makers within the industry in both Europe and the Americas, and paper copies are provided for subscribers and delegates at major shows such as Vitafoods Europe, Hi Europe and Fi Europe, Anuga Foodtec, Fachpack and Global Food Safety Summit.
Our aim is to provide a view of the market which is both interesting and informative for purchasers, influencers and decision makers within the sector.

International Food Hygiene is an established global magazine that focuses on all aspects of food hygiene and safety in production and processing. It carries regular features on laboratory testing and relevant research. Its editorial covers subjects as diverse as campylobacter and HACCP and mycotoxins and traceability. Target readership is centred around QA/QC managers in food production, food testing laboratories and anyone responsible for food safety.

International Meat Topics is a relatively new global magazine that focuses on the technical and hygiene related issues in modern meat and meat processing plants. It looks at the issues that modern meat plants need to address if they are to satisfy the demands of today’s customers, consumers, legislators and enforcers. Target readership is centred around progressive production and QA/QC managers in the meat sector.

QUALIFOOD Academy is an information portal for food safety professionals. It provides free articles, webinars, information about important events and the other valuable resources. Similarly to our Food Quality Magazine, the portal is focused on the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) approved standards.
