3M FOOD SAFETY

IFA (ISEKI Food Association) is an independent European non-profit organisation, established in 2005 by university institutions, research institutes, companies and associations related to food, coming from all over the world.

In order to assure the best possible competences for all working in the food sector; and thus contributing to serving the consumer with safe and good food, the IFA mission is to support:
Lifelong learning in the food sector, encompassing both academia & industry
Teachers and Trainers to improve efficacy of teaching
Students to gain knowledge more easily
Industry staff/ Food professionals to make use of research results
Researchers to extend collaboration

The European Association for Food Safety, SAFE consortium acts to keep food safety on the agenda. Companies and public bodies spend millions keeping Europe’s food supply safe, and food is safer than ever, yet WHO estimates 23 million cases of food-borne illness and 5,000 deaths in Europe every year, and the European citizen is far from trusting of our food system. SAFE is a platform of research bodies: Institutes, Universities, Societies and Research Groups and Departments within them, acting as an independent spokesman for food safety research in Europe to the benefit of the public. Contact us to organize a peer-reviewed seminar or position paper on your food safety topic of interest!

FoodEurope Magazine is the quarterly publication for the latest news, technologies, trends and innovations in the food and beverage marketplace within Europe and the Americas.
It focuses on the main pillars of any food manufacturing enterprise: ingredients, processing and packaging, and analysis and control. In addition, it provides up-to-date industry and company news.

FoodEurope is distributed free of charge via email to decision makers within the industry in both Europe and the Americas, and paper copies are provided for subscribers and delegates at major shows such as Vitafoods Europe, Hi Europe and Fi Europe, Anuga Foodtec, Fachpack and Global Food Safety Summit.
Our aim is to provide a view of the market which is both interesting and informative for purchasers, influencers and decision makers within the sector.

QUALIFOOD Academy is an information portal for food safety professionals. It provides free articles, webinars, information about important events and the other valuable resources. Similarly to our Food Quality Magazine, the portal is focused on the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) approved standards.
